KYNECT ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Effective 15 December 2025

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of the Kynect Service Terms and applies to all Customers and any person using the Kynect Platform, APIs, dashboards, or any related services (collectively the “Services”).

By using the Services you agree to comply with this AUP.

1. General Principles

You must not use the Services in any way that:

  • causes or may cause damage to the Services or impairment of their availability or accessibility
  • is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or harmful
  • infringes any person’s legal rights or gives rise to legal liability under any applicable law

2. Prohibited Activities

You must not (and must not permit anyone acting on your behalf to):

Security & Integrity

Attempt to undermine, circumvent or breach the security, integrity or performance of the Services or Kynect’s systems

Reverse Engineering

Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works of the Services or any Kynect software except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law

Harmful Code

Transmit viruses, malware, worms, trojans or any other harmful or malicious code

Denial of Service

Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services, including any denial-of-service attacks

Excessive Use

Use the Services in a way that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on Kynect’s infrastructure or that could degrade performance for other customers

Unauthorised Automation

Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, scripts or any automated means to access, query or extract data from the Services (including via APIs) without Kynect’s prior written consent

 

3. Prohibited Content & Data

You must not store, transmit or process via the Services any content or data that:

  • is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, hateful, discriminatory or inflammatory
  • infringes third-party intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights
  • constitutes unsolicited bulk messages (“spam”), phishing, or fraudulent communications
  • promotes or facilitates illegal gambling, weapons, drugs, violence or terrorism
  • contains child sexual abuse material or any material that exploits minors
  • breaches applicable sanctions, export controls or anti-money-laundering laws

 

4. Marketing & Communications

You remain solely responsible for the lawfulness of any emails, SMS or push notifications you send using the Services or in of guest data received resulting from bookings received from the Services. Kynect is not liable for any claims arising from your marketing communications.

5. Monitoring & Enforcement

5.1 Kynect does not routinely monitor Customer content but reserves the right to monitor, scan or review any activity or content where we reasonably believe this AUP may have been breached. 5.2 If we become aware of any violation we may (without liability and without refund):

  • issue a warning
  • suspend or restrict access to the Services
  • terminate your account immediately

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please notify us immediately at abuse@kynect.direct.

7. Changes to this AUP

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be notified to Customers by email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Services after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
