How it started:
Discovering the problem
After attempting to book a family trip to Sicily with several AI platforms, our founder, Tom, realised while these tools made it easy to collect information in one place, the actual booking experience fell apart. He found himself reverting back to traditional methods to complete the bookings leaving their platforms.
Drawing on Industry Knowledge
Tom has commercial expertise in building partnership eco systems at scale for 10 years at RMS, and building the Marketplacer Seller Community, which is now one of the largest directly integrated seller platforms globally. His father, Peter Buttigieg, is the founder of RMS Cloud (one of the world’s leading PMS systems) and widely recognised as a leader in the hospitality industry for enterprise database design and technical integration.
Building the Solution
They each drew on their extensive knowledge base to look at this problem together and after many conversations, they questioned why these platforms still had not nailed the booking process, and with that inspired the foundation of an idea for Kynect.

A single unified API fully cached, connects you to thousands of properties with ARI on demand, ready to be embedded into your platform. All surfaced through an MCP AI ready.
Guests can build a single cart across multiple properties and PMS vendors, enjoying a smooth, one-flow checkout instead of juggling multiple tabs and separate bookings.
Our PMS integrations let us provide embedded guest management. Booking, modifying and cancellation are all able to be undertaken while the guest stays directly inside your platform.
Kynect orchestrates the checkout, splits payments, and settles with all vendors in a single motion, truly unifying the travel experience for AI powered trip planners.
With deep integration with the PMS, properties connect just like any other channel. No third‑party plug‑ins, no extra apps to manage and critically the full guest data is passed through to the property.
